Lissette Bishins, COO
Lissette Bishins serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of LTBD. In this capacity, Lissette oversees operations, staffing, talent development, strategic execution and organizational growth for the LTBD team.
Prior to Joining LTBD, she served as the Executive Director of Child & Family Network Centers (CFNC), a leading provider of preschool education and family support services to at-risk and disadvantaged youth in Alexandria, Virginia. At CFNC, she successfully developed strategies for operational efficiency and organizational sustainability during a time of increased pressure on nonprofits in areas ranging from fundraising to community engagement.
A child of immigrants herself, Bishins has spent more than a decade in nonprofit leadership, serving as chief executive or regional director for the YWCA, the American Red Cross, the Beth El House, MENTOR International, and the Carpenter’s Shelter. She has been recognized as a finalist for numerous nonprofit awards, including the Washington Post Award for Excellent in Nonprofit Management and the Center for Nonprofit Excellence EXCEL Award.
Lissette holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication & Media Studies from Emerson College in Boston.
